My house is in the name of my husband who has passed away. The property is on leasehold and has to be converted to freehold.
1) To sell the house, is freehold conversion mandatory? Can mutation alone help?
And can me and my children give a No objection affidavit to sell the house?
2) What is the difference between mutation and freehold?
3) Can i get the copy of the procedure applicable in this case? The property is in Kanpur, Uttar pradesh.
