Property tax

I have a common corridor with my brothers. We have done seperate mutation. And for common corridor We divided the corridor in to four parts( we are four brother). We all state the divided corridor parts in our mutation. Is this correct?

Property tax is applicable on whole property and not its parts.

Mutating the common property on individual names will not solve the problem,  you may have to get the division of common corridor property executed by a registered deed giving the details of extent of allotment each individual.
