what is the significance of cross examination in civil suits especially in case of a partition suit case when everything is filed in affidavit.
what value does a cross examination on the parties add to it.
is the expectation to understand the context from party in box beyond what s stated in the affidavit ? if the court can decide bsaed on mere facts even if a party doesn appear for cross examination, what added value does it give to the case?
