I recently received a Legal notice that someone (Person A) is not being allowed membership of society in the society that I live in.
They addressed me as chairman of society and sent me the legal notice.
I do not know the person. I only shifted to this building 6 months ago and I am not Chairman/ Secretary or Treasurer of society. I am simply a society member. They have addressed it to my name so as per them, I am the intended recipient of the notice.
What should I do?

You give a reply stating the fact and ask him to stop corresponding to you in this regard in future

Show the notice to a local prudent lawyer for proper opinion, advise and necessary proceeding.

If there is address on the Notice reply and return to him as wrongly deliverd.
