Dear Learned Members,
We have made multiple payment of stamp duty on the Increase in the authorized share capital of the Company, as we thought that the initial NEFT payment of stamp duty was not linked with MCA. Later on contacting with MCA officials we realized that both our payments were linked and MCA released both our payments to the respective stamp duty offices of the state which in our case is Maharashtra as our ROC is Mumbai. Further, we have filed an application with stamp duty office in Mumbai (BKC) regarding the refund, but its been more than 6 months but still we have not received any reply from them. Hence, I request you all to please guide us on how to proceed in this matter. And has anyone from this group has gone through this procedure of stamp duty refund in Maharashtra.
