A parcel of residential land in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, was gifted to me by my mother under a Gift Deed. I then constructed a house on the land. Later, I made a Settlement Deed making my wife and two major sons as equal owners of the property and we have a patta issued including all our names. Now I want to sell the house to a property builder and get flats and balance cash from the builder after conversion of the house into flats.
My two sons are living abroad. Can I get Power of Attorney from them to sell the property on their behalf? Can a Lawyer help me in drafting this Power of Attorney for sale of property in Chennai, Tamil Nadu? If yes, please give me the contact information.
