Service banafit after suicide

Respected Lawyers who are here to guide us ignorant people about laws and rules.

I have a query regarding service benefits after suicide.

A punjab govt. employee committed suicide a year ahead of his retirement.In case of natural death the department gives benefits like

service to dependent wife/son/daughter
gratuity
ex-gratia
pension
other than this money from EPF account and leave encashments
there can be some other monetary benefits too. which may be unknown to me

My question is if the person has commited suicide leaving behind a suicide note that he is taking this step because of official work load. News is in the newspaper and case is under police investegations. Does his family entitled to all ablove listed benefits or some of them cease just like isurance payout in case of suicide.

i am hoping to have a reply with your professional knowledge soon.

it will be very helpful if you can guide me on some act/rule where i can collect documents supporting your view.

Dear Sir,

More than two months have passed but i have not received any reply on my post though it is viewed by many persons. Am i unclear in framing my question? or it is something non commentable?

Atleast please guide to some act/law which i can study

As per Insurance Laws and T&C of the policy if the policyholder has committed suicide within 2Y from DOC, the legal heir/nominee may be paid Fund Value in the policy A/c.

Pursue the T&C in Policy and relate.

All other benefits name by you is applicable and should be paid to Legal heir/Nominee.

Legal Heir may stake the claim.

In case of difficulty approach a local lawyer dealing in such/Labor/Service matters.}
