SHARE for daughter in her father's property in HINDU FAMILY

religion : hindu

issue : sale of ANSESTORAL HOME

query:   wife's grand father's HOME..to be sold ..he has 2 brothers (1 no more) and 1 daughter( my wife's mother)

case : grand father died...now brother wants to sell and take entire proceeds...is it allowed in the law? or is it has to be shared by him amongst his sister and brother's wife?

final note: will my mother in law has any right to get any share of the properly to be sold...

THE DAUGHTER CAN CLAIM SHARE IN THEANCESTRAL  PROPERTY  BY FILING CIVIL SUIT FOR PARTITION OF PROPERTY.

during life time of parents duaghters take a lot while sons are deprived hence they should not take any share .this is moral issue not legal.this way the relationship remains good.
