Society property

A doctor who is no more now,  purchased land in the name of a society for the purpose of supporting the poor and orphaned children. After his death the land was not shown in the Audit Statement of Accounts from 2007 onwards. The current president of the society is trying to sell it by obtaining legal heir of the dead president/doctor. How a public can object to it? what legal action can be taken to the Office bearers of the Society registered under Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975?

If the society is registered no hair can sell the property. Only the members of the society have the locus standee to object.

File application to the Registrar Co-operative societies with all necessary documents under the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975.
