Tenant trying to harrase landlord

Namaskar. My tenant and his wife keep on troubling me and my wife.

We both are senior citizens and they keep on troubling us by different small small means. When we stop them, they quarrel with us and call up police. This is because I have already filed a case on them to vacate my house. In a recent incident, my wife told tenant's kids not to play outside our entrance as it creates disturbance. The tenant's wife (in early 30s) came out and started fighting and then threw a few gamlas on the floor, called up police and reported falsely that my wife tried to kill their small children with gamlas. Police took their statement and called me to police station and said that they know all this happens in such cases and will close this tomorrow. Me or my wife need not visit again. Can police arrest me or my wife on the basis of a false complaint? Does god exist or he also helps the wrong people?

When police have said like this they may drop the case, but if your tenant put spressure on the police or paid money to them , then police may take actyion against you and they can arrest you.  So proceed with the case pending in the court and request the court to finish off the case as early as possible, if court asks then say the illegal activities of your tenant

Yours is one sided story , if you object for children to play such gimmicks will continue and will weaken your case for eviction.

Be sensible and avoid trilfles and keep broader objective in mind.
