Termination of a Senior employee

Dear Sir,

A friend of mine referred to your website a long time back. I need some urgent advice today.

We are a Private limited company employing more than 1000 employees in UP (NCR). Recently a senior employee designated as Business Head started showing his casual attitude towards work and seniors. As a result he had small disagreements with the top management and other top officials. Though that never happened in the past. The employee is working for last four years with us. We gave him a new role almost four months back where his team is not happy with him. We want to call off his employment with immediate effect. We have not given him any notice or charge sheet yet, we have also not done any domestic enquiry. I want to convey referring to appointment letter that he should leave taking his salary of 1.75L p.m. with all other dues immediately.

What problems could be there or to issue a termination letter we need time which we are really running out of.

Please guide.

Thanks in anticipation,

UC

If he accepts your compensation and leave, its O K.. Else you will have to face consequences if he is expelled without due process of law.
