i have a query regarding token money reciept. some days back we decided to purchase a second hand car from a local car dealer. we made an advance payment of 21,000 rs to the concerned party and in turn he surrendered us a stamped hand written reciept of acceptance of the givan amount. after hardly 12-14hrs we informed him that due to some financial crisis in the family we will not be able to go ahead with the deal but he is now reluctantt to give any money back.
my query is that any legal way to get it back.
