Urgent help

Sir 

My father is 69 year old he is retired Officer in Income tax dept ( IRS) , he has taken VRS on 31.06.2006  my father has recently undergone catract & glucoma operation in Pvt hospital , when we went CGHS my father has told that he is not eligible for the scheme as scheme was not applicable that time , and they refused to give a single penny 

It is humble request to members if any one can tell me exact rules regarding the CGHS scheme , whether he is eligible or not , also he is not having any card of CGHS , please advice me it would be of great help to me thanks in advance

Download the VRS policy and look for the clauses pertaining to Medical Coverage at that time.

The employee's unions leaders, experienced colleagues can also update you.

 

You may wait for advise of other members/experts.
