WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IMMEDIATELY!

Hi All,

I am faced with a peculiar dicotomy of thoughts and need your view point for the same :

"WHILE DRIVING DOWN ON THE ROAD IF OUR VEHICLE IS HIT BY EMERGENCY SIREN BLOWING POLICE VEHICLE CAUSING CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE"

WHAT ARE OUR OPTIONS - HOW AND WHY?

UNDER THE CIVIL LAW, CRIMINAL LAW AND CONSTITUTIONAL LAW.

Dear Daksh, in such case the police will registered a case against the driver and if death or other permanent disability occured you can file a petition for compensation before the Motor Vehicle Accident Claim Tribunal.

Sir, If admittedly a criminal wrong has been committed as per the scheme of the Cr.P.C - I.P.C. it is a right vested in every citizen to use reasonable amount of force to bring the culprit to justice. In the instant case whether I can assert my right there and then qua the guilty or he cannot be touched in view of carrying sovereign function (being in uniform). Kindly show me the path forward.
