when can the defamation suit filed against FIR with false allegations

An FIR against me is registered under IPC 420 on 22nd July 2023 with some fake allegations by a farmer group.

I have registered a case under NI act 138 on the president and secretary of that group on 20th April 2021.They appeared on 21st July 2023 in this matter and the very next day registered an FIR to counter the matter.

All the allegations in FIR has already been litigated in the District Consumer Forum and the same are rejected by the forum.

Even after 17 months the chargesheet or summary reporr has not been filed.
But the complainants are defaming my reputation in the society and on the social media.

What's the best and quick remedy for me ?

When can I file a defamation suit against the complaint?

If they have defamed you then you can send a legal notice demanding compensation and apology from them as first step and then you can file the defamation case immediately.

Multiple fora / acts / allegation is stated to have been involved in the facts posted.

Rejection of consumer complaint and case filed under section 138 of the NI Act, 1881 shall not attract the law governing defamation.

FIR case is still stated to have not been tried by competent court.

No case is made out for initation of (lible or slander) defamation either civil or criminal   in the given facts and circumstances.
