Will deed

Hi,

I am from Hyderabad and was living with my parents from 30 years. My fater was an ex-servicemen and was in different parts of the country. My mother had expired 2 years ago and my lost my father also 3 months ago.

My fater was allotted assigned land in Guntur District of 2.5 acres and has a flat in Guntur Town.

He has nominated my mother's name in all his bank accounts. But unfortuately did not change them to my name.

To claim bank accounts and the property to my name i had a very tough time.

I apporached an advocate and he asked me to get a Legal Heir Certificate which he has done it as a Notary (not sure if this is registered) and also General Power Attorney ceritifcate which is also a notary(not sure if this was also registered). Both were denied by the banks as they wanted to get this done by the Government of Telangana (Revenue & Registrar office).

Regarding claiming of name change from my father to my name I was asked to get a Family Certicate for which the same advocate cum notary was made which was denied by Govt of AP that it is not valid.

Can someone help me how can I get the name changed from my fathers house name to my name and the legal owner of the land ?

I have only an old copy of the D-form land and have to get it secured from a illegal possession.

Kindly help me how do I get the Succession ceritificate or the will deed will help me to get this done.

Thanks in advance

Mike

Please obtain Death Certificate of your Mother and also Father from the Municipal Authorities. I hope these were already obtained. The procedure to follow to obtain Legal Heir Certificate is well explained in Wiki Procedure. You may use the following link to obtain the details: https://www.wikiprocedure.com/index.php/India_-_Obtain_Legal_Heir_Certificate
