498A settlement

Hi , My wife had filed 498A on my and my family.

Session court has ordered to go for settlement. Now court has told us to give full money in two drafts. First draft will be given to girl after filing of 13B and fevidavit for quash. Though second draft will be with the girl , court will give a freeze order to bank till girl finishes the case and then only it will released to the girl.

My question is

1. Is it safe?

2. Can session court give order to bank to freeze the amount in matrimonial cases.

3. Any precautions we should take.

Thanks

I suggest you to meet personally some lawyer who has more knowldge in these types of cases and act accordingly. The reason is based on the 498A details things may vary. Those may not be same for all 498A cases. So if you show your 498A details to a good lawyer and then you will get good advice.

I am not a lawyer I am also fighting to win 498A since 2.5 years

In my opinion without an application court cannot direct the bank to freeZe the amount
