I would like to ask in this forum if lawyers can advertise there service on email to people.
Why I am asking this is that I am getting calls and email from this one person who is an advocate in High Court of Gujarat.
He calls and starts enlisting the services that he can provide as a lawyer for my company.
As per my understanding this is not allowed from lawyers in India but again I am a HR professional unaware of any changes in law where advocates can advertise their service.
Also if it is illegal to advertise by a lawyer his services then it should be brought to the notice of authorities.
After all one who defends the law cannot break the law.
If so to whom should one complain.
I hope I have not offended anyone.
