At what stage of the trail at the very latest can the written statement be amended? The Plaintiff has filed her Affidavit of Examination in Chief and is at the Admission and Denial of Documents stage. The Defendant would like to add some more pleadings and facts to his written statement. Thanks in advance.

if the defendant came to know only from the cross examination, then can file application to amend writter statement.
But filing of additional written statement wiill be easier
