We live in Pune. My dad bought a flat 5 years ago. During construction we got some grill-fittings modified, which were not mentioned in the contract, these should not have costed more than Rs 5000, but the builder asked for Rs 10000 at that time.This led to an argument between my dad and the builder due to which he didn't issue us the NOC and hence we were not able to register the house.
Recently we needed a loan and decided to mortgage the house. When I approached the builder he asked Rs 1 Lakh to give the NOC.
I tried going through MAHARASHTRA APARTMENT OWNERSHIP ACT, 1970 but wasn't able to decipher it.
Can anyone please suggest a way through which we can get the house registered in our name without having NOC.
