My senior citizen friend protected under Bombay Rent Control Act has survived murder attempt from the resourceful builder in the past but Police didn't register FIR due to hefty bribes.
Thereafter Consent Terms were filed in 2013 in Bombay High Court wherein builder has agreed to provide alternate permanent accomodation in the redeveloped building by 2017 besides payment of Monthly rent till possession.
But inspite of this he went on to file Eviction Suit in 2017 against her besides delaying payment of rent. Besides this he has repeatedly threatened her husband with murder if they don't surrender the tenancy flat.
Several complaints to CP, CM and even NHRC have gone waste due to rampant corruption.

You can take the assistance of a local lawyer practising in high court and file a writ petition seeking protection and also a stay order agaisnt the builder to restrain him from forcibly evicting you other than by due process of law.
