You may have to obtain permission from district collector to sell the inam land.
It is always advisable that a proper legal opinion from an experienced lawyer in the local may be obtained before buying an immovable property.
Dr. J C Vashista (Advocate ) 17 June 2024
Inamati land can neither be sold nor purchased without obtaining prior permission of authority concerned.
Seek professional advise of a local prudent lawyer.

Many of the terms posted - neerganti inamti, podi etc. are local terms, it appears, in Kannada. Only a local expert/lawyer would be able to understand those terms as well the present atatus of the land.
Information that couldbe accessed reveals neerganti inamti had been an aliented tenure constituting a service inam. On the abolition of such tenures, the land has reverted back to Government. The property reamains Government land unless it has been appropriated for private occupation and has since been assessed for land revenue.
