Can advocate be chairman of society

Can advocate be a Chairman of society registered under The Societies Registration Act 1860 and The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.
If anybody is the Chairman of society and now completed education in LLB and now willing to practice as advocate, kindly let us know whether he have to resign from the Post of President/Chairman.

As per your query, there's no such limitation on an advocate to get indulged in such positions in a registered organization/society/trust, and hence an advocate is fully eligible to become a chairman of society registered under the Societies Resistration Act 1860.
