I am a land lord, a house owner in Baroda, Gujarat. My tenant is moving out from my house as their agreement is ending and asking for security deposite on the same day they move out. But as per my knowledge we need to pay all the electricity bill and repair all the damages which occured in the house, so we can not give him security deposite on the same day. Is there any rule that we have to return his deposite by that time?
And is anybody has any check list by which I can check that my house after he moved out ? What type of repair charges and dues the tenant has to pay after moving out from the house? Is there any legal document tenant or landlord need to sign when he gives charges of my house return to me? What are the points to be taken care as house owner when tenant is moving out from your home? Please advice me because I am first time experiencing all these.......Please help as soon as possible.......
