cheques

i have given some amount to a firm through cheque on hand loan without any  note. they have issued me back a post dated cheque for the  amount . now some differences arise between me and them. can they create any problem to my payment ?

Just deposit the the post dated cheque whenever u have to within the stipulated time and if by creating problems you mean making a stop payment or mischeivously maintaining a low balance so as to not pay you,then They are liable us.138 of Negotiable instrument act for both reasons mentioned above...U can recover the money depending on case to case..If that happens u can always mail me at minumini22@gmail.com

if u think, it could be araise any dispute between u, dont't think what else.. u may prasent the cheque at their accont branch in stipulated period, if the same dishounered, issue the notice against them within 30 days, before this process u may contact them and ask about ur loan amount.......
