THERE IS NO SUCH BAR FOR APPLYING FOR CIVIL SERVICES.  ANY QUALIFIED CANDIDATE CAN APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION, AND THE BAR APPEARS ONLY IF HE IS CONVICTED FOR AN OFFENCE.

Hello,

If there is no CONVICTION against you, then you do not need to worry. However, if selected, they do a background check on you. During that do not hide your criminal case and just let them know about.

When an accused is found "not guilty" what is the problem left ?

It is advisable to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts/ documents, professional guidance and necessary proceeding.
