I have my bank a/c from 2007. I have never opted for the ATM, nor I have ATM card even. Last 4 month before my bank deducted 100 Rs for the ATM maintenance.

Now, I need to know can I have case against the Bank. How much Time it will take. What will be the cost and How much compensation I can claim?

Request your expert opinion on the same.

@ sandeep,

Some banks issue ATM card from the readily available stock in branch e.g. SBI,PNB, while some bank obtain ATM card issue request and a centralized office dispatches ATM card.

The major issue shall be if in your a/c some ATM card number is featuring as issued to you by the bank.

Nowadays, some strange kind of misappropriation, due to some strange kind of reasons are being reported. From that perspective it shall be appropriate to lodge a complaint addressed to BM of the branch in writing under acknowledgment and BM may be asked to confirm in writing to you which personnel and which branch of the bank has issued which ATM card number........... while you have never instructed the bank to issue you an ATM ( or ATM cum debit card) , and on what grounds bank has collected cash under ATM charges from your bank a/c owned by you, without your authorization. You may mention that Bm shall reply in writing under original seal and signature by hand thru regd. post only.

Let the BM report to you in writing, by redg. Post.

If you are careful bank shall serve you with responsibility.
