Correction made in sale deed and both parties signed- fine?

Hello All ,

Expecting positive response.

I did my flat registration recently.

first registered construction agreement and sale deed and MOD for bank.

In the sale deed , we need to enter Construction agreements registered no.

Doc. writer wrote incorrectly and changed using Pen (3458 to 3456) and signed by both the parties.

Is that OK ? I mean correction made and signed by both the parties.

Note : 3456 , 3457 and 3458 (construction agreement, sale deed and MOD respectively ) are my documents only .

They said its no issues if both the parties signed and all the documents are with us.

Worried a bit.

Dear Velmurugan,

If the correction is made and signed prior to registration of the document it is perfectly alright you need not worry. However, if you have made corrections on the documents after registration, then it is not permissible. You need to execute correction deed and get it registered by noting the corrections made in the original document, and the said correction deed shall be part and parcel of your original documents.

Thanx.
