Court summon Abroad

An Indian employee working with IT company has went to London, UK for 1 year assignment. He has left his wife and kid in India without informing them.

Now he is not giving any money to them. Is it possible to lodge a complaint against him in UK? Or any legal way to do that?

Is it possible to send him a court summon for maintenance charges in UK with receipt proof?

Yes the wife may file a maintenance petition in the family court in india and the court summons can be sent to london.  It is possible.

Yes U can file a petition for maintenance in family court here .... summons of which would be sent to UK ..... if he recieves the summons and does not attend court then an ex-parte maintenance order would be passed by court in ur favour ..... though u'd have an order of maintenance u'd still have to wait for him to come here ..... cause how r u going to enforce the order of maintenance if he is in UK .....

But if he does not recieve the summons or evades it .... then there is problem ... U will have to try other means to serve the summons to him .... through indian embassy in UK ..... this will take some time and there is no immediate solution to ur problem.

Yes it is possible and will be easily summon him, if he is in the same job.

File DVA application before family court and you will get maintenance within few days.
