Discrepency of service by builder

I have booked a plot in a small city with a renowed builder in 2006 . The project was in a prime location. The Builder has the project in colloboration with local builder. The builder has another project in colloboration with another local builder in the same city but with some inferior location. Company have secured all the govt  formalities for both the project. Now company the offering me a plot in the inferior location project whereas I have applied for another one.

I have sent refusal of offer to company in this regard. Can you please advice whether  I should go to court of Law for getting the plot in my original booking or I have to accept the builde'rs offer.
