The employee died on 27/04/2006, the  employee is the pension holder

On 13/11/2006 the Son of employee received letter from Bank, that the pension amount is available at their branch. Therefore the son went to the Bank alongwith Death Certificate of his mother, thereafter the Bank send him a letter on 26/05/2007 stated that the PPF Amont has been sent back to the Regional Office of the EPFO.

Therefore, the son sought the Legal Heir Certificate and claim for the PPF Amount  at the Commisioner of the Sub-Regional Office  in the month of April-2008. but since then he did not receive any letter nor the amount.

Now, whether I can served them a legal notice demanding to release the claim amount as early as possible

Pls provide me procedure in that regard.

Dear Chetan ji,

Is there is any acknowledgemet copy that all the documents submited to the RPF office. If so send the two / three reminders. Eveny if they are not respond then the son has to write final letter to the RPF Office stating that I am proceeding legally. The only you have to send the LEGAL NOTICE.

Regards,

PBS KUMAR
