Extending a registered agreement

Hi - With both seller and buyer interested, is there a way to extend the duration of a registered sale agreement (purchse of a land) without going over the process of registration again? Eg: Agreement for sale of a land signed by both parties and registered, stating the transaction will be complete in 6 months. By the end of 6 months, both paties agree to extend the agreement for another year. Thanks!

further agreement shall be registered  by both parties. stamp duty and registration fee shall be payable according to your state.

You may register a rectification deed without stamp duty payment

yes. to register ageement of rectification for extension of period.

and no need of stamp duty to pay . only on minimum stamp duty like in maharashtra 500 rs.

and registration fee to be paid
