Flat registration

Hi,

I have purchased a flat 7 years ago in Bangalore, and after completion of my loan I got the original documents. I noticed that the Pan number is not correct. One letter is printed wrong.

Will there be any problems in future if I want to sell it?

Is the rectification process difficult?

1. IF the Sale Deed was originally registered before the SRO, THEN there is no need for any Rectification Deed for any inadvertent error in PAN card, which as it is used only for authentication.

2. Show the property properly in your income tax returns and this is what is legally required.

It is better to go for rectification deed to avoid legal complications in future.
