I know that its illegal in India to run a place where people can come and play cards and the owner of the house deducts his/her commission and pays remaining money to the winner. My question is if its true then how come a website in India can be allowed to let people come and play for money and the website deducts its commission (10+ %). Its actually worse than real casino where people come and play because the players atleast know that no one is cheating with them while dealing the cards etc. which is quite possible with computer where the owner of the site could put a check ( by computer code ) and make sure that only particular person gets the good cards and wins the game.
I am not sure whats the law and although I know its not fair to allow such thing in India, I don't know where to report such incident and what action is needed here.
