Gauhati High Court Chief Justice Lokur, Madan Bhimrao, visited Mokokchung District Court on 7th december 2010. During his maiden visit he inspected District courts, Court library, Bar room and advocates' chambers and District Customary court as well and interacted with the Judges, Advocates District customary Court Dobashis etc. His maiden visit has evoked a deep sense of responsibilities and introspection amongst the Judges, Advocates and the District Administration.However, when he started appreciating the role and function of District Customary court I feel nery uncomfortable. Be that as it may, such visit of High Court chief Justice to district court is really appreciated and a great inspiration to judges, advocates and the District administration.
