General power of attorney

I am an NRI residing in Saudi Arabia. My parents recently died here in Saudi Arabia in quick succession and have left properties back home in Inda in Mumbai and Kerala. I have one elder brother and 3 sisters. I am the 3rd. My question is can I have a Power of Attorney in my name to do any transactions being an NRI? My elder brother does not have any objection. But, I cannot give Power ot Attorney to my sister who is in India simply because she cannot act with authority on anything without the involvement of my brother-in-law which we both brothers don't want due to some obvious reasons and since we don't want any future complications.

yes ,you are eligible to do any transaction on power of attorney if its nature is global and not sepecific, but now the person who had issued the power of attorney had died ,the power of attorney will automatically lapse.and property will be distrubuted among the legal heirs of the dead person.
