Hi Experts
I m going to contest application of interim maintenance of my wife us 24 of HMA.
My net salary is approx 37000 pm. i have two home loans for which i m regularly paying emi of 13457 pm & 9874 pm. My question is whether the maintenence amunt will be calculated based on 37000 or after deducting both the emi from my income ie on 14000 pm.

While awarding maintenance, Court considers following factors among other:
Though there is no fixed formula to arrive at the calculation of maintenance. Yet, the figure hovers around 30% to 40% of the salary/income.
