How to withdraw a court case

Hello,

My wife filled couple of cases againt me and my family. Section 125 Cr.pc and DV act. Though we have not appeared in court yet however My wife wants to compromise now and is ready to withdraw the case. So could you please tell me the process of withdrawing that. I also want to make sure that she goes ahead do that by her own. She told me that she wants me as well go with her to court in order to do that however I'm afaird of all this and want to be on safer side.

My Questions are ::

1. Can't she go and withdraw the cases by her own by saying that we are ready to live together?

2. If she can't do that then I would prefer fighing the case becasue I don't trust her anymore becasue she has already done enough with me and my old parents.

Pls suggest what to do ? Thanks in advance.

Dear Querist

section 125 of crpc and Domestic violence case both are complaint case/petition and the petitioner/complainant has right to withraw after filing an application or record her statement before court.

Agree with Nadeem and it can be withdrawn anytime.

Thanks for you reply.

I want to ask. Am I also required to go to the court along with her to withdraw the case ?  or she can go ahead and can do that by her own.

Regads,
