At the venue of Interview he was stooped and was asked for the required documents as per notification. In the notification of IBPS it was simply mentioned that a "officer with two year experience" can apply. The advertisemnt of IBPS for this post haven't mentioned that whether it required Designation or Grade officer. My younger brother in working in banking sector since last four years. In private Bank their is no any post called "Officer". His document is of "Executive ".sir i want to know that what is the possibilities for this case. Let your brother immediately file the facts through a letter to IBPS as grievance. enclosing the certified copy of duties entrusted to him or shown in his appointment order.  You can not win on IBPS individually by filing cases, and it may also be a disadvantage for himj to apply for further vacancies.  Now that he is already enjoying a job, he has to lose nothing.  By filing such cases, he will be branded as litigant.  Those queries which should have been put before applying for the job, should not be argued at the time of interview.  If the performance in interview is satisfactory, they might have question on his present duties as executive with present private bank.  Simply because interview is over, do not think that doors are closed.   If  your brother makes a polite representation, there are still chances of getting recruited.  While facing a situation, always consider all avenues open and make litigation only the last option.

The private bank may agree to mention Executive in Officer cadre.

Are this Bank/bank’s employees member of  IBA, AIBOs.

If yes look into their publications.

In future go fully prepared exactly in accordance with publication.

As per threads at LCI also, IBPS is rigid to the last alphabet.
