Income tax proof not accounted

Despite submission of income tax proof as per the deadline, HR failed to do accounting which has resulted in huge TDS deduction from my salary for the month of December2016. The salary hasn't been paid yet. I can't wait to file return in July 2017 and take refund of the same. The TDS amount is 80% of my gross salary which is a huge loss for me. What should I do?
