Mr. Ravikant

bailable and non-bailable being definitions under schedule to Act CrPC

the conversion is not possible.

practically, the same bail conditions may not be enough, extra sureties would be needed.

we are talking of discretion of magistrate, so i do not think research on citation will help

A bailable offence cannot become a non bailable one after the accused forefeits his bail-bond .... The Accused can make application for fresh bail ... and it is the discretion of the Magistrate whether to grant such an accused fresh bail .....

A bailable offence will not become unbailable at any stage. Just as a pressure tectic we routinely apply for cancellation of bail of the accused. Even bail granted by higher court can be cancelled by lower court if bail bond conditions are voilated. But in all such cases normally the courts grant a fresh bail .
