Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to know if in Maharashtra after a residential building project is completed, is completion certificate same as occupancy or are the two different?
If builder says, completion certificate is received, should I specifically ask for anything like occupancy certificate in addition?

Completion Certificate and Occupation Certificate are different.
Once there is a completion certificate, there is no requirement for Occupation Certificate.
If there is only Occupation Certificate, then it is lesser than the Completion Certificate.
