The due compensation has been paid.

However you are contemplating on reasons mentioned in query.

You may take help of elders of your family, competent and experienced well wishers, seasoned PIP’s, helpgroups, community leaders, NGO’s, experienced colleagues, associations, and  find a very able LOCAL counsel specializing in concerned filed of law e.g; Civil matters as in your case, and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules, precedence, latest judgments etc …. and worth his/her salt, can advise you and even help you, if the need be. Some LOCAL counsel must have handled such matters.

Online discussions are not substitute to in person discussions with a very able counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in concerned field of law.

There are such very able counsels at each location.

Check for such counsels at LOCAL: Civil courts, HC, SC …

Such matters require proper legal opinion that is possible only after assessing all relevant docs/rules/laws/ details of scheme under whihc land was acquired , inputs in person.

A good counsel does not render bad advice.

There is no any provision for return back of land to original owners. So not waste time for that.
