I and 3 of my friends took a flat in chennai for rent Rs 9000. We stayed 11 months in that flat and we vacate two days back. Now the landlord saying that he'll reduce the money for painting the house and cleaning. We gave 50000 advance. Now he's reduceing nearly 6000 other than rent. We only stayed 11 months and the flat is in good condition. In rental agreement its mentioned like for damage we need to give money. Will these charges come under damage? Do we need to give the money? If no how can we get back our advance amount from landlard? he didnt give it back yet..
