Limitation Period

Consumer Forums had set limitation period to file  complaint before it as 2 years from the date on which a cause of action had been made.

In my case I got court order in a consumer court that a builder had to deliver possession of a cottage by April 2006. Though I got possession I did not get the approved plans.

I filed appeal idicating along with other defects but did not get favoable order. I followed other cases as well untill Dec 2009.

Can I file a seperate petition in consumer court for registered documents only telling cost of action as Dec 2010 before the forum?

If registered documents was not an issue in the previous complaint and the cause of action has arisen subsequently, you can certainly raise the issue in the second complaint.
