yes but it is academic course but a bachelor degree LL.B from directorate of distance education of jammu university.

but this is not fair enough.How can Professional courses like LL.B can be through distance learning. This type of pass out students should not be given any enrollment certificate. This is an out and out wrong thisn to do. some people with the intention of misusing the powers of the Advocates are trying to get the degree through distance learning mode. This sort of a thing should be scrapped.

This LL.B is an academic course not professional. Its a two year degree course. But one can not enrolled as advocate only can give legal advice or awareness to public. Many other professionals like C.A's, Teachers, Doctors, Civil servants without legal background, Police Officers, Journalists, and other persons who want to gain legal knowledge can do LL.B professional course from Univeristy of jammu through directorate of distance education.

As far I know, LLB through distance learning is not considered by Bar Council Of India.
