Our building is in dire needs of major repairs but the majority of the members are against the same. There are heavy leakages in some of the flats and the outer plaster is falling but the Members refuse to pay the amount required for major repairs are are just delaying the situation thinking that some builder may approach them for redevelopment and give them a bigger flats. We are in a situation where the existing structure is getting more and more corroded as the time passes by and we might soon reach a stage where the MC might ask us to vacate the structure. Please advise what should be done to tackle this situation. Also can interest be charged on Major repairs incase we somehow convince the majority to go for major repairs as some members may not agree at all for the same. Please advise. Thank you
