We are considering starting an eCigarette business. We plan to make something called an eLiquid.
What is eLiquid: eLiquid is a liquid made from FDA and GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) ingredients. This eLiquid is added to an eCigarette which becomes vapor when the coil in an eCigarette heats up. Nicotine can be added to this eLiquid in variable amounts. For e.g. I can have a eLiquid with 6mg nicotine strength, or an eLiquid with 12mg nicotine strength etc.
Questions:
If I was making such eLiquid, what all licenses do I need to manufacture nicotine based products and sell them to the general public?
What category does my product go into?
I am looking to hire services from someone who understands nicotine, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, CORPA and someone who can guide us through this journey.
