My brother wants to meet his child

My elder brother has got 9 yrs boy out of his unsuccessful marriage of 10.5 yrs. It has been 1 year now my sister in law is living separate at her parent house along with my nephew. She is no more interested to come back. Our problem is that she does not even let my brother meet & talk or not even have a phone call, to the child. My brother is so attached and misses his son. She has not clued us about divorce and she does not ask for anything not even a come back. Our relatives say that child should live with mother only. My borther used to care his son like a mother and quite attached with him. He cries like a kid when he misses him and mostly seen in depression. I cannot see my brother in this stressful condition. We do not want to threat them/ her for a legal proceeding or a court case at this stage. How can I help my brother so that he can meet talk and live with his son?

If you want to eat banana, you have to peel its skin. So, if your brother is really interested to see the child, then file custody case along with visistation rights in the place where the child is at present residing. As immediate relief, he will get visitation rights to meet child at regular intervals.
