You're in great trouble. If you have just SMSes from her and you're going to file divorce petition, any blind lawyer would be able to defence her and say that you did this knowingly to trap her into this situation (happened with me). I see all your planets are moving into one wrong direction.

Few suggestions -

1. Don't be mad and have an understanding that everything happens for good.

2. Arrange a personal detective (costing around 1200K for full-day) to take "digital" photo (so that forensic team can prove that it's original), audio and video footage at the time when she is meeting with her old boyfriend for at least 2 months. It would cost around 100,000 rupees but it's worth than spending on divorce case.

2. Install wireless spycam at home (preferable under bed, kitchen and balcony) to capture video and stored them at central location. Please note that "audio recording" are not acceptable as evidence in the court. This would cost around 30K-40K max.

3. Ask her to go to her mother's house for few days in every month so that she has fair chance to show the same love in public in the name-of "I am at mother's house".

4 Record event when she tries to provoke you. Make sure if she tries provoking you then you tempt her to beat you more and more. Keep getting those beatings unless you're half-dead. Once you've beaten-down black-and-blue, immediately have medical certificate ready.

5. Register an FIR against your wife and father-in-law that they're torturing you for 498a case. Show bare minimum video recording on the same.

6. Open a locker in bank, deposit an handwritten statement that your wife and father-in-law is harassing you.

7. Final, gather family member from both sides and ask her to talk about her old boyfriend. Make her ready for Mutual Consent Divorce (MCD). Also, DO NOT show any evidences except SMSes so that in coming 498a case, you have better way to escape.

You are married to one "Wrong Woman".... Do NOT take your chance.... Be calm and have patience...
